Ayurveda Angel House, Weligama****

Location: The Ayurveda Angel House is situated in southern Weligama 140 km south of Colombo and 185 km south of the airport directly on the beach in a quiet area.

Accommodation:.The ten rooms are according to the ayurvedic rules simple but very calm and comfortable.  There are cleaned every day, bed sheets and towels are daily changed

Facilities: The tropical gardens, the many ponds and pools and the silent atmosphere is ideal  for ayurvedic cures.

All inclusive consists of accommodation, ayurvedic cure, airport transfers (one way air taxi, one way micro bus), ayurvedic full board inclusive all ayurvedic drinks, ayurvedic snacks and 5 o’clock tea, all treatments (daily 4-5 hours and more) and doctor consultations (every second day and as wished), all medication (partly from own herbal garden), all oils and herbals during the cure, 2 times a day Yoga and Meditation, two afternoon tours.The doctor speaks  very well English.

Transfer from Colombo by air taxi on arrival and by mini van fort departure. Arrival: Guests will be taken care of  by staff of the Sri Lankan Airlines Airtaxi at the Colombo Airport and  will be escorted to the air taxi. After 30 min. guests arrive in Koggala, where they will be picked-up from our staff in an air-conditioned mini van and it takes another 15 min drive to the hotel. Welcome flower-necklace, welcome drink, welcome ceremony and welcome massage will be held. For departure fully air-conditioned mini-van will bring the guests within 4-5 hours to the airport. We send a snack-package with each guest. There is a possibility to go back also by the air-taxi, the extra charges would be USD 200.00 to USD 600.00 depending on the Sri Lankan Airlines and the number of passengers.

Consultations/Treatments First consultation will be held on arrival or next day. After that every second day. Our experienced ayurvedic doctor has been practising Ayurveda for 35 years and will take care during your stay of all your medical and healing procedures.

Usually there are at about 4-5 treatments per day. 

On the arrival day there will be a welcome foot massage. If the weather allows, it will be in the open-air treatment area. If the departure is in the afternoon or in the evening, there are still treatments in the morning up to lunch.

Special ware like sarongs etc. will be provided daily for your  treatments. Guests can also wear it in the public area or on the beach. Our guests are in a private surrounding and the only neighbour-hotel has a few quiet and friendly guests.

Foods/drinks: Hot water (ayurvedic speciality) and herbal tea are throughout the day available in big tempered dispensers. For the night small dispensers will be provided in the rooms. During the relaxation after the treatments, drinks will be served. The meals are prepared separately  for each guest as per instructions of the doctor, to match his individual dosha.

Relaxation Programme: Yoga and meditation are performed twice daily. Yoga is held on the beach, in the tropical garden or at any other comfortable place  with our competent yoga teacher.

Tours & Excursions: 2 complimentary afternoon tours to nearby attractions. Other tours are payable; we provide ayurvedic snacks or lunch packet for take away.
