The guests have been appreciating for years the casual atmosphere and the entertainment and sports possibilities at Ziyaraifushi, which was the old name of this island Location: At the outer reef in the North of the North Male Atoll. Length about 350 m, width about 75 m. Distance to the house reef about 80 m to the outer reef about 300 m. Distance from the airport 35 km. Transfers by fast dhoni from the airport to the island or vice versa take approx. 1 1/2 hours. What is the island offering: White beaches and crystal clear waters, lush vegetation with many shady palm trees in the interior of the island. Ideal for swimming, wind surfing, and sailing. Divers and snorkelers appreciate the many excellent diving sights close to the island. Facilities: Reception with sitting areas, coffee shop, bar and restaurant, all open Souvenir shop, TV, Spa, Internet Café, reading and playing room. Accommodation: 92 conveniently furnished air-conditioned rooms, each with a king size bed and a normal bed, all situated near the beach, with telephone, ceiling fan, open air toilet with hot and cold fresh water, balcony or terrace. The 16 deluxe water bungalows (situated above the lagoon), are comfortable and stylish furnished, and have toilet wit bath/shower, WC, mini bar, mini safe, cable TV and balcony Sports & Leisure: Well run Diving School with CMAS courses and Surf Station (with instructions), snorkelling equipment for renting, catamaran sailing, canoeing, water skiing, beach volley ball, badminton, table tennis, disco evenings, occasional beach barbecues. Food & drinks: All inclusive = full board (American breakfast, lunch and dinner), additionally snacks between 4 pm and 6 pm. Until midnight tea, coffee, fruit juices, mineral waters, beer, house wine, whiskey, brandy, rum and vodka will be served free of charge. Also included in the "all inclusive" per guest is one hour daily snorkelling (without equipment).
