Location: In the east of North Male Atoll, 40 km from the airport. Length about 800 m, width 400 m. Distance to the house reef about 30 m, to the outer reef 40 m. Transfers by boat from the airport to the island or vice-versa take approx. 1 hour by speed boat.

What is the island offering: Broad, white beaches and clear blue waters, lush vegetation with shady palm trees inviting for long walks. The house reef is ideal for snorkeling and diving.

Facilities: Restaurant (open-air), 2 coffee shops, bar.

Accommodation: 225 nicely, stylish furnished rooms all with sea view. Standard rooms are in blocks of 4 to 6 rooms with air-conditioning, shower, WC, terrace. Land villas and water villas (distinctive individual bungalows) with veranda built in natural wood, are larger and have additionally telephone and mini-fridge.

Sports & Leisure: Swimming pool with sun terrace with deck chairs, gymnasium, tennis hard court with floodlights, football, volleyball, badminton, water-skiing, windsurfing, catamaran sailing . A well run Dive Base with instructions (run by Euro Divers) is also available on Meeru. Regular evening entertainments, soft animation.
