Kurumba Village Resort ****

Location : In the very south of the North Male Atoll. Length: about 500 m, width 250 m. Distance to the house reef 10 to 50 m, to the outer reef 2 km. Transfers by boat from the airport to the island or vice-versa take approx. 15 minutes.

What is the island offering: Broad, white beaches and blue clear waters, lush vegetation with many shady palm trees in the interior of the island. Large lagoon good for windsurfing.

Facilities : Large reception area and lobby, island shop, main restaurant, coffee shop, four specialty restaurants (Chinese, Indian, international, Grill room), piano bar, traditional bar, open-air disco.

Accommodation : 190 large and tastefully furnished rooms in semi detached bungalows of 3 or 4 units (partly two-storied), situated near to the beach, all with air-conditioning, telephone, music channel, bath/shower, WC, hairdryer, mini bar, balcony or terrace.

Sports & Leisure: Two freshwater swimming pools with sun terrace, deck chairs and sun shades, fitness centre with whirlpool, two tennis hard courts with floodlights, volleyball, table tennis, billiard. In the evenings regularly live-music or disco. A well run Dive Base (instructions) and Surf Station (no instructions) are also available on Kurumba.

Meals : When eating at night in one of the specialty restaurants the prepaid dinner for guests on half board and full board will be taken into account.
