Location : In the south of the North Male Atoll, 6 km from the airport. Length about 800 m, width 300 m. Distance to the house reef about 80 m, to the outer reef 450 m. Transfers by boat from the airport to the island or vice-versa take approx. 20 minutes.

What is the island offering: Broad, white beaches and clear blue waters, lush vegetation with shady palm trees in the interior of the island. Large lagoon good for windsurfing.

Facilities : Island shop, main restaurant and two air-conditioned specialty restaurants (Thai and Mediterranean), coffee-shop, barbecue terrace with sea view, lounge bar and piano bar.

Accommodation : Luxuriously furnished rooms of which 52 units in water bungalows on stilts with direct access to the lagoon and 104 units in two stories guest houses all air-conditioned with telephone, mini bar, bath/shower, WC., hairdryer, music channel, balcony or terrace.

Sports & Leisure: Swimming pool with separate children's pool and sun terrace with deck chairs, fitness room, sauna, two tennis hard courts with floodlights. In the evenings regularly live-music or disco. A well run Dive Base (instructions) and Surf Station (no instructions) are also available on Furana.

Meals : When eating at night in one of the specialty restaurants the prepaid dinner for guests on half board and full board will be taken into account.
