Location: In the Ari Atoll 55 km south of the airport. Length: about 200 m, width 150 m. Distance to the house reef 10 to 80 m. Transfers by sea plane from the airport to the island or return takes about 20 minutes.

What is the island offering: Broad, white beaches and blue clear waters, lush vegetation with many shady palm trees in the interior of the island. The lagoon is ideal for windsurfing, snorkeling or swimming. The excellent house reef is a snorkllers' and divers' paradise.

Facilities: Main restaurant, coffee-shop, bar, island shop.

Accommodation:   38 rooms tastefully furnished and air-conditioned with shower, WC, music channel and with mini bar in cabana style.

Sports & Leisure: Diving, snorkelling, water-ski, table tennis, volley-ball, darts. A well run Dive Base with professional instructors is also present on Bathala. Weekly regular dance evenings, and an entertainment programme are organised.
